Skydancer Dancing Bull
Driving toward suspended scent,
feeling the gravitational pull of desire, breakaways come easy!
Shunning five alarm heat while fluently running the rolling prairies,
true grit with a Go-for-Broke attitude. 58lbs of standout style built
around a brilliant mind. Yup, the extremes of field trialing and
rambunctious expectations!

Excerpts from the 106th American Field
Quail Futurity - Inola, OK Nov.1 2010 - Handled by Travis Gellhaus
The drawing: 42 Dogs - 39 pointers and 3 setters - were named to start.
The 30 minute qualifier: "W W True Grit and Skydancer Dancing Bull were
loosed from the Arkansas gate area heading west. True Grit gave it a
valiant try, but the warm conditions and heavy cover in spots took their
toll and Vincent picked the dog up at 15. Bull was fancy going and
appeared undeterred by conditions. Gellhaus and the setter were in
accord, Bull not giving his handler any undue moments as he hunted at
good range, finishing on a favorable note".
The One Hour Futurity Finals included 8 dogs for the callback; 7 pointers 1
setter.
"Both Southern Star Jack and Skydancer Dancing Bull had acquitted
themselves in good fashion in their initial heats. They were loosed just
below the rock barn from the waterline roadway and soon up on the higher
ground heading to the Arkansas gate, where both dogs angled left after
the gate, but handlers had them back ahead in good order. Jack gave a
clinic in forward ranging, never behind, and scouted minimally. The
setter angled to the side on occasion, perhaps his only misstep, both
dogs finishing well, Star with the edge". Southern Star Jack proved to
be the "star" of the show wining first place.
